1. Original Name: Zebra Zolta. The working name used to be Kozula 179. This variety is also known as Zebra Volta.

2. History: Zebra Zolta was developed by Polish tomato breeder Anna Jankowski (Kozula). The variety became stable in the F6 generation in 2015. It was introduced to the public as a stable variety at that time.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. A good choice for growing in a greenhouse and outdoors. Tall bush, indeterminate, growing up to 6 feet (180 cm) tall. Thick stem, regular leaf. Regular truss, 4-5 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: It can be trained to one, two or three main stems, and staking and pruning are a must. As the plant grows, it is necessary to remove the bottom leaves.

5. Shape and Weight: Flattened and round fruits with shallow ribs near the stem end. Weight: 7-10.5 oz. (200-300 g).

6. Color: Zebra Zolta tomatoes are yellow with green stripes at first, and then they become rather orange or mustard while the green stripes can gradually get brown. The flesh is of ochre color with greenish gel.

7. Flavor Profile: Sweet with an acidic aftertaste, full-flavored and very fleshy!

8. Culinary Use: Perfect for fresh salads, slicing or canning as paste, sauces or ketchup. Its natural acidity is enough to avoid adding extra vinegar or acetic acid. A healthy product for people with allergies.

Kozula 179 (or Zebra Zolta) has been reported to undergo certain changes. We assume that its color or stripes may change. However, in our conditions it has proved to be stable and has been very productive.
