Would you like to see paintings drawn by Mother Nature? Each of these tomatoes is a real painting!

1. Original Name: Persuasion.

2. History: Bred by famous tomato breeder Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms (California, USA). First released for sale in 2015.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. Perfect for growing both in a greenhouse and outdoors. It can produce fruits until a frost if you grow it in a greenhouse. Indeterminate medium-size bush, growing up to 5-5.5 feet (150-170 cm) tall. Thin stem, regular leaf. Regular truss, 4-6 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: The bush can be trained to one, two or three main stems. Pruning and staking are a must.

5. Shape and Weight: Round fruits. Weight: 1.8-3.9 oz. (50-110 g).

6. Color: The color is amazing! True love at first sight. The main background is red and crimson. The fruits get a blue anthocyanin coating near the stem end when exposed to the sun. Later there are swirls of green stripes maturing to orange. Tri-color fruits!

7. Flavor Profile: Many of those who have tasted these tomatoes really loved them. They are sweet, juicy and flavorful! We fully confirm this. The flesh is rather buttery. The skin is thin, and the fruits are small being rather of a salad type.

8. Culinary Use: A good choice both for eating fresh and for canning (juices, ketchup, paste). The fruits keep for a week after harvesting. But their great advantage is that the fruits may stay on the bushes for quite a long time without being spoiled.

Persuasion was introduced as a stable variety in 2015. But if there is little sunshine, the fruits will have less anthocyanin in charge of their blue color or will have just some blue and brown coating. This variety is rare and very beautiful.
