1. Original Name: Lime Green Salad. Also known as Green Elf.

2. History: Developed by well-known tomato breeder Tom Wagner under the name of Green Elf. Introduced by Tim Peters in 1980 in his Peters’ Seed Research under the name of Lime Green Salad.

3. Plant Specifications: A very interesting variety that will draw your attention due to the height of its bushes and heavy crop. Early-season. A very short plant, growing up to 1-1.3 foot (30-40 cm). After the stems and leaves are formed, the bush produces dozens of flowers! These bushes look like fluffy balls. Perfect for growing outdoors or in a garden covered with agrotextile.

4. Training Instructions:
No pruning is required. The only thing the plant needs is staking or tying the plant to the stick otherwise the bush may fall over because of heavy fruits.

5. Shape and Weight: Beefsteak and round fruits. Weight: 3.5-5.3 oz. (100-150 g).

6. Color: Olive-green or yellow and green.

7. Flavor Profile: These tomatoes are sweet just like all green tomatoes. The flesh is juicy. There is a mixed fruity and tomato flavor.

8. Culinary Use: It is recommended to use these early-season tomatoes for fresh salads, fresh juices and snacks. When you get your second or third crop, you may can the fruits as ketchup, paste or juices.
