Big dark heart-shaped tomatoes with an amazing taste.

1. Original Name: Cherokee Purple Heart.

2. History: Discovered by tomato breeder Rock Angier (North Carolina, USA) among his Cherokee Purple plants in 2009. Introduced commercially by Victory Seeds in 2013.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. Indeterminate, medium-size bush, growing up to 6 feet (180 cm) tall. Thin climbing stems, droopy and wispy leaves. Regular truss, 4-5 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: The bush can be trained to one or two main stems. Pruning and staking are a must.

5. Shape and Weight: Very beautiful elongated heart-shaped fruits. Weight: 7-14.1 oz. (200-400 g).

6. Color: The color ranges from purple and dark red to brown. The flesh is bright purple and red.

7. Flavor Profile: An excellent sweet and refreshing taste with an intense tomato flavor. The flesh is buttery and soft.

8. Culinary Use: Perfect for fresh salads and tasty dark tomato juices. Fruits do not keep well, and the skin is thin. It is not recommended to water the plants when the fruits ripe.

A stable variety. The plants produce a lot of fruits though the bushes are not firm. According to the observations made by tomato breeders from many regions, this variety produces fruits a little earlier than Cherokee Purple, its parent variety.
