1. Original Name: Rumcajs.2. History: Developed by tomato breeders from Poland. Named after a fictional character from Rumcajs, an animated television series made in Czechoslovakia, who was a Robin Hood-like brigand robbing from the rich and giving everything to the poor.
3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. A good choice for a greenhouse and outdoors. Medium-size bush, growing up to 3.3-4 feet (100-120 cm) tall. Thick stem, regular leaf. The trusses are compact, and there are 4-7 fruits per truss.
4. Training Instructions: No pruning is required but it is necessary to tie the longest stems. The bushes are sprawling.
5. Shape and Weight: Round and smooth fruits. Weight: 5-7 oz. (150-200 g).
6. Color: Bright red. The flesh is red.
7. Flavor Profile: Sweet and slightly tart, full-flavored, with a pleasant tomato flavor. The walls are thick but the flesh is juicy and soft.
8. Culinary Use: Perfect for fresh salads, juices, sauces and canning whole tomatoes. The fruits can keep and transport well due to their thick walls.
