1. Original Name: Red Viper.
2. History: Bred by Blane Horton (Galactic Magic Seeds). This is a variety from the Viper family.
3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. Suitable for growing outdoors. Short bush growing up to 3.3 feet (100 cm) tall. Thick stem, slightly rugose regular leaf. There are 4-6 fruits per truss.
4. Training Instructions: No pruning is required but it is necessary to tie the longest stems.
5. Shape and Weight: Flattened and round fruits resembling oblate-shaped balls. Weight: 2.5-3.2 oz. (70-90 g).
6. Color: When ripening, the fruits are copper green and are ready for eating. When fully ripe, the skin of the fruits turns rather brown and red. The flesh is green with reddish spots in a cut.
7. Flavor Profile: Very sweet with a bright flavor and fruity aftertaste. The flesh is juicy and buttery.
8. Culinary Use: Delicious for eating fresh or in salads. A good choice for juices.
