1. Original Name: Шалун, or Shalun (Naughty Child).

2. History: A variety originating from Russia. Selected by Siberian tomato breeders from the SibNIIRS (Siberian Research Institute of Crop Production and Breeding). Entered on the State Register of the Russian Federation in 2009.

3. Plant Specifications: Early-season. Indeterminate, tall bush, growing up to 6.5 feet (200 cm) tall. There are 10-15 fruits per truss, and the trusses are long.

4. Training Instructions: It is recommended to train the bush to two main stems, and staking and pruning are a must.

5. Shape and Weight: Round cherry-type fruits. Weight: 0.3-0.5 oz. (10-15 g).

6. Color: Light pink.

7. Flavor Profile: An unusual bursting taste being slightly acidic at first and very sweet later. The flesh is juicy. Tomato flavor with a fruity aftertaste.

8. Culinary Use: These tomatoes are perfect both for eating fresh and for canning whole tomatoes.
