1. Original Name: Marmande de Montpellier.

2. History: Bred by Eric Pedebas (France) in 2010 as a cross between Marmande Garnier and Feuerwerk. At the initial stage, it was a large red tomato with small golden spots. But due to the fact that many breeders were growing this variety for many years, its fruits changed and became lighter, round and heart-shaped. As a result, this variety has become more popular.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. A good choice for a greenhouse and outdoors. Tall bush, indeterminate, growing up to 6.5 feet (200 cm) tall. Thin stem, regular leaf. There are 3-5 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: It is recommended to train the bush to two main stems, and staking and pruning are a must.

5. Shape and Weight: Round and heart-shaped fruits, sometimes with shallow ribs near the stem end. Weight: 3.5-7 oz. (100-200 g).

6. Color: Swirls of orange streaks and splashes and golden spots on the red background. The flesh is red and pink in a cut.

7. Flavor Profile: Very delicious, well-balanced, sweet and slightly tart. Intense tomato flavor. The flesh is meaty, buttery and juicy enough.

8. Culinary Use: Perfect for fresh salads, juices and sauces.
