1. Original Name: Iva’s Red Berry.

2. History: Selected by Iva Grasa (Slovenia) from a cross between Sungold and Supersweet 100. In 2010, it was at the F5 stage. Today it is a beautiful and stable variety.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. A good choice for a greenhouse and outdoors. Indeterminate, tall bush, growing up to 6.5+ feet (200+ cm) tall. Thin and knotted stem. Regular leaves having an unusual fragrance resembling that of currant leaves. Long truss, 0.5-1 feet (15-30 cm). There are 15-20 fruits per truss. However, the plant may have double or triple trusses having 30 and more fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: It can be trained to three or four main stems, and staking and pruning are a must. It is not a problem if you miss a few suckers as you can also tie them. This variety has a great potential and can produce all the fruits.

5. Shape and Weight: Round. Weight: 0.1-0.2 oz. (3-5 g). Weight of a small truss: 1.8-2.5 oz. (50-70 g).

6. Color: Bright red 'beads'. The flesh is red.

7. Flavor Profile: Very sweet! The fully ripened fruits have a spicy and fruity aftertaste.

8. Culinary Use: A pleasure for parents and a treat for kids. There is no need to can or freeze the fruits full of vitamins when you can eat them fresh picking them right from the garden.
