1. Original Name:
California Tulip.

2. History:
An exotic and rare variety. The origin of this variety is unknown. As we assume, it originates from Eastern Europe or Russia. The variety was named after a tulip with its bi-color yellow and red petals.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. A good choice for growing outdoors and in a greenhouse. Indeterminate, tall bush, growing up to 6.5 feet (200 cm) tall. Thick stem, regular leaf. Firm regular truss, 5-7 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions:
It can be trained to two main stems, and staking and pruning are a must.

5. Shape and Weight: Elongated and round pear-shaped fruits with longitudinal ribs resembling an unopened tulip flower. Weight: 3.5-7 oz. (100-200 g).

6. Color: Yellow with orange and pink marbling on the sides and in the upper part of the fruits. The flesh is yellow.

7. Flavor Profile: Sweet and slightly tart. Tomato flavor. The walls are meaty, and there are some voids because of ribs.
