1. Original Name: Bosque Blue (which means 'Blue Forest' in Spanish and English). Also known as Blue Forest.

2. History: A variety from the USA. Developed in the 2010s by Lee Goodwin (USA) from a cross between OSU Blue and Amy’s Sugar Gem. Released by J&L Gardens.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. Perfect for growing both in a greenhouse and outdoors. Indeterminate, tall bush, growing up to 6.5 feet (200 cm) tall. Thick stem. Dark green regular leaf. The truss is regular and elongated. 5-7 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions:
It can be trained to 2-3 main stems, and staking and pruning are a must.

5. Shape and Weight: Round and smooth fruits. Weight: 1-1.7 oz. (30-50 g).

6. Color: Very beautiful bi-colored fruits that seem to be shining from the inside out. The main background is red, and there is a light anthocyanin coating on the shoulders. The fruits get a more intense anthocyanin coating with more sun exposure. The flesh is pink.

7. Flavor Profile:
Sweet with an intense and pleasant flavor. The flesh is juicy.

8. Culinary Use: Very delicious when eaten fresh or used for salads.
