1. Original Name: Norderas Busk. Its name means 'Northern Bush' in Danish.

2. History: A wonderful Norwegian heirloom variety.

3. Plant Specifications: Early-season. A good choice for growing outdoors and in a greenhouse. Determinate medium-size sprawling bush, growing up to 3.3 feet (100 cm) tall. Thin stem, regular leaf. Regular truss, 3-4 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: No pruning or training is required. However, it is recommended to tie all of the longest stems because the bush needs quite a lot of space and the stems can be 2.6-3.3 feet (80-100 cm) long.

5. Shape and Weight: Beefsteak fruits in spite of their small and compact size – 1.8-2.1 oz. (50-60 g).

6. Color: Bright red with red flesh.

7. Flavor Profile: Sweet and slightly tart with pleasant tartness. Tomato flavor. The flesh is meaty and juicy enough but there are no cracks on the skin.

8. Culinary Use: Perfect for fresh salads, juices, sauces and canning. This variety has turned out to be an amazing cropper! You just need to provide a lot of space for it (2x2 feet, or 60x60 cm per bush) and tie all of the stems to the horizontal support structure from above to make the bush look like a small tree with separate stems (instead of tying all of the stems to one stake). Then you will see a real wonder. You will have a bush with a cascade of red ball-shaped fruits being of very good quality and having a nice taste. Norderas Busk is very productive!
