Tomato 'Micro-Gemma'

1. Original Name: Micro-Gemma. Also known as Micro-Gemma Micro Dwarf or Dwarf Space Tomato.

2. History: A variety specially developed for the International Space Station. One of its parent varieties was Micro Gold. Its sister variety is Micro-Tina Micro Dwarf.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. A good choice for growing outdoors and in a greenhouse. You can also grow these tomatoes in large pots if you use good fertilizers. Super-determinate and very short bush, growing up to 0.5 feet (15 cm) tall. Thick and knotted stems, slightly round and rugose regular leaves rather looking like potato leaves. Regular truss, 3-5 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: No staking or pruning is required.

5. Shape and Weight: Round fruits. Weight: 0.1-0.15 oz. (3-4 g).

6. Color: Bright yellow with yellow flesh.

7. Flavor Profile: Sweet and slightly tart with an intense flavor. The fruits are firm and crisp.

8. Culinary Use: Perfect for eating fresh, freezing or dish decoration.
