PACKAGING: Sachet Zip lock 12 - 15 SEEDS

Large, striped and very tasty fruits.

1. Original Name: Summer of Love.

2. History: Bred by Brad Gates (Wild Boar Farm, California, USA). Summer of Love is an improved version of Berkeley Tie-Dye. Larger fruits that ripen earlier. Introduced in 2017.

3. Plant Specifications: Medium early or mid-season. Perfect for growing both outdoors and in a greenhouse. Indeterminate, tall bush, growing up to 6 feet (180 cm) tall. Thick stem, regular leaf. Regular truss. 3-5 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: Summer of Love can be trained to one or two main stems. Pruning and staking are a must.

5. Shape and Weight: Flattened and round fruits, sometimes with rare ribs near the stem end. Large fruits can weigh as much as 10.5-17.5 oz. (300-500 g).

6. Color: An unusual bright color with swirls of olive-green and ruby-colored stripes all over the fruit. Brown and green in a cut, with pink spots in the middle.

7. Flavor Profile: A nice sweet taste with refreshing tartness. A fruity flavor. The flesh is buttery and soft.

8. Culinary Use: It is a salad type so it is recommended to use it for eating fresh and cooking meals. Good for full-flavored juices and sauces to be canned. The fruits do not keep well as they get too soft. No cracks on the skin.

It is a recent variety but it is distributed as a stable one. In rare cases, the weight may be lower or the color may change (but not significantly) if you do not train the bush or grow it in half shade.
