1. Original Name: Rebel Starfighter Prime.
2. History: Selected, chosen for stabilization and bred by Russ Crowe (Fairfax, Vermont, USA) as a cross between Xanadu Picasso and RHK GWR Heart. First introduced by Galactic Magic Seeds in 2018. A sister to Rebel Starfighter VT-16 being green with stripes and anthocyanin. Both of these varieties are named after starfighters featured in Star Wars.
3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. A good choice for a greenhouse and outdoors. Indeterminate, tall bush, growing up to 6.5 feet (200 cm) tall. Thick stem, wispy and climbing regular leaves. Long regular truss.
4. Training Instructions: It is recommended to train the bush to two or not more than three stems. Staking and pruning are a must.
5. Shape and Weight: Heart-shaped fruits with beautiful elongated pointed tips. Weight: 3.5-7 oz. (100-200 g).
6. Color: There are green stripes decorating the dark crimson background and blue anthocyanin on the shoulders. A swirl of antho and metallic green stripes showing a wonderful painting by the Nature itself. As the fruits ripe, Rebel Starfighter VT-16 tomatoes (being green) become soft while Rebel Starfighter Prime tomatoes turn dark crimson. The flesh is also dark pink or crimson in a cut.
7. Flavor Profile: Rebel Starfighter Prime is a real delight due to its sweet taste and a bright tomato and slightly fruity flavor. The flesh is meaty, juicy and plum-like with few seeds.
