1. Original Name: Peppermint.

2. History: A rare variety. An heirloom from mountains around Pikeville-Crab Orchard in Tennessee (USA) with its history dating before the 1980s.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. Indeterminate, tall bush, growing up to 6.5 feet (200 cm) tall.

4. Training Instructions: It can be trained to one or two main stems, and staking and pruning are a must. If you control the number of flowers in a truss you can produce fruits with the weight of up to 35 oz. (1 kg) and more.

5. Shape and Weight: Beefsteak fruits with shallow ribs near the stem end. This variety differs from other varieties due to having large fruits with the average weight of 10.5-17.5 oz. (300-500 g).

6. Color:
Yellow and orange with red marbling in the upper part. Very beautiful in a cut.

7. Flavor Profile: Sweet with a tomato and fruity flavor. The flesh is meaty and juicy enough as well as sugary in a cut.

According to many of the gardeners who have been growing this tomato, the fruits get their rich taste and flavor after they have been kept for some time after harvesting.

8. Culinary Use:
Perfect for eating fresh and canning as juices and sauces.
