2. History: An old heirloom variety from South America. On one of the websites, it is specified as originating from Columbia while the information provided on another website says it originates from Peru of the pre-Columbian times. An Incan heirloom.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. A good choice for a greenhouse and outdoors. Indeterminate, tall bush, growing up to 6.5 feet (200 cm) tall. Thick stem, regular leaf. Long regular or double trusses. 4-10 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: It is recommended to train the bush to two or three main stems, and staking and pruning are a must.

5. Shape and Weight: Pear-shaped fruits with flat pointed tips and rare ribs showing the number of seed cavities inside. Fruits with four, five or six seed cavities are most frequent. Weight: 1.4-1.8 oz. (40-50 g).

6. Color: Very beautiful and gentle but also very bright pink color. This is the color girls like. Ovita bushes can be seen from far.

7. Flavor Profile: Since this is a ruffled tomato with thick meaty walls, its sugary (and sandy) flesh has little sweetness and almost no tartness. Tomato flavor. There is some juice around the seeds. The seed cavities have voids.
