1. Original Name: Монгольский карлик, or Mongolsky Karlik (Mongol Pigmy). Also known as Mongol Karlik.

2. History: A rare variety from Russia bred by amateur tomato breeders and distributed in Siberia and Transbaikalia. Intended specially for cold regions. According to one of the versions, it was introduced by gardeners from a gardeners’ partnership in Chelyabinsk, and it has not been entered on the State Register of the Russian Federation yet.

3. Plant Specifications: Early-season. A very short plant, growing up to 0.5-0.8 foot (15-25 cm). Sprawling dwarf bush with a lot of branches. That is why it is recommended to mulch the plant using agrotextile or to use wooden stakes to tie the clusters with fruits. Cold tolerant. It can produce fruits for a long time. This variety is a heavy cropper taking into account the small size of its bush.

4. Training Instructions: No pruning is required.

5. Shape and Weight: Weight: 5.3-7 oz. (150-200 g).

6. Color: Red.

7. Flavor Profile: Very tasty sweet fruits with a bright tomato flavor. The flesh is meaty but soft and juicy.
