1. Original Name: Иллюзия, or Illuziya (Illusion). Аlso known as Yellow Stuffer.

2. History:
A variety originating from Russia. Developed by GISOK-AGRO. Entered on the State Register of the Russian Federation in 2004. Very similar to the widespread Yellow Stuffer variety.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. Tall bush, growing up to 5-6.5 feet (150-200 cm) tall. A good choice for growing both in a greenhouse and outdoors.

4. Training Instructions:
The bush can be trained to two or three main stems. Pruning and staking are a must.

5. Shape and Weight: This unique and rare exotic tomato has an amazing shape. Its fruits are very similar to bell peppers! They look just the same and the only difference is their taste. Cube-shaped fruits with ribs. Each fruit is unique having a different number of ribs (two, three or four ribs). The fruits are hollow inside and have seeds only in the middle. There is almost no juice around the seeds.

6. Color: Bright yellow and lemon yellow.

7. Flavor Profile: The walls are very meaty and firm. Sweet and slightly acidic, with a tomato flavor.

8. Culinary Use: These tomatoes look just the same as bell peppers. They are incredibly tasty when stuffed or baked in an oven – they will make you long for more! This variety is a perfect stuffer. You can use meat, vegetables, mushrooms, farm cheese, rice, eggs or a mix of all these ingredients to stuff them. If you use boiled rice, canned fish and mayonnaise to stuff them, you can eat these tomatoes fresh without baking them in an oven. If you use meat for stuffing, you should bake the tomatoes in an oven. The walls of these tomatoes do not fall to pieces and hold their shape when you cook them. This variety is a good choice for freezing or dish decoration. A salad made of bell peppers and Illuziya tomatoes will take everybody’s breath away!
