1. Original Name: Gardener’s Sweetheart.

2. History: Developed by Will Bonsall, a famous seedsman and breeder. First offered commercially by Fruition Seeds.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. It can produce fruits for a long time. Indeterminate, tall bush, growing 6.5-8.2 feet (200-250 cm) tall. Thick stem, broad regular leaves. Very long trusses, which are often divided into two. They look like beads hanging on the bushes from far. There are 10-15 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: The bush can be trained to 2-4 main stems. Pruning and staking are a must.

5. Shape and Weight: Small tidy and polished heart-shaped fruits. There are cavities or pointed tips in the upper part. Weight: 0.5-0.9 oz. (15-25 g).

6. Color: Bright red. The flesh is of the same color.

7. Flavor Profile: One of the sweetest tomatoes in our collection. It is 100% sweet resembling a sweet berry. A bright tomato and fruity flavor. The flesh is firm and almost crisp, and the walls are thick. There are few seeds, and it is pleasant to eat these tomatoes.

8. Culinary Use: An excellent snack to be picked right from the bush. We always eat a lot of different tomatoes so sometimes we do not feel like eating them any more. But it is quite different with this tomato as we cannot resist eating these heart-shaped fruits. Ideal for kids or for dish decoration. Perfect for canning. The fruits keep well for a few days after harvesting. Crack-resistant.
