With the fuzzy texture of its striped fruit, it is a decorative variety in every sense. A unique tomato!

1. Original Name: Fuzzy Wuzzy.

2. History: The only thing that is known is that its seeds were provided to Bryan Connolly and Diane Dorfer by David Cavagnaro (Pepperfield Project, Iowa, USA). This variety was later offered in the Seed Savers 2006 Yearbook.

3. Plant Specifications: Early maturity. Determinate, short bush, growing 1.3-2 feet (40-60 cm) tall. The stems and leaves are slate-gray or silver. The stems are slightly droopy and fuzzy. Droopy regular leaves with a fuzzy texture. Regular or double trusses. There are lots of flowers and 6-10 fruits per truss. Perfect for growing outdoors or in a greenhouse if you plant it among tall bushes of other tomatoes. You can also grow these tomatoes in large pots in your balcony or in your yard.

4. Training Instructions: No training, pruning or staking is required. This variety has small decorative bushes to be admired, and no special care is needed. If you grow these plants in a garden, you need to mulch the plants using agrotextile.

5. Shape and Weight: Plum-shaped tidy fruits with pointed tips and without any ribs. Weight: 1-1.4 oz. (30-40 g).

6. Color: The fruits have a soft fuzzy texture resembling that of the peach skin and are pleasant to the touch. They are red with yellow and orange stripes. Red and pink in a cut.

7. Flavor Profile: A pleasant sweet taste with a mild tomato flavor.

8. Culinary Use: Perfect for eating fresh. Also a good choice for canning whole tomatoes. The fruits do not keep well after harvesting.

Fuzzy Wuzzy is a stable variety. It is impossible to take your eyes off this beautiful tomato. You can also grow it in your garden bed instead of flowers.
