PACKAGING: Sachet Zip lock 12 - 15 SEEDS

1. Original Name: Blue Bayou.

2. History: Bred by well-known tomato breeder Tom Wagner (USA). This tomato is one of his best blue tomatoes. The variety was released and offered commercially by Tom Wagner’s New World Seeds & Tubers in 2012.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. An exotic variety with very beautiful fruits. Indeterminate bush, growing 5-5.6 feet (150-170 cm) tall.

4. Training Instructions: It is necessary to train the bush to one main stem.

5. Shape and Weight: The weight is small on average (2.1-2.5 oz. (60-70 g)) but it can be up to 3.5 oz. (100 g).

6. Color: The fruits are blue and green later maturing to red and blue. They are almost black on the side exposed to the sun! Dark red in a cut.

7. Flavor Profile: Sweet fruity taste. These tomatoes resemble exotic fruits! Kids will like them. The flesh is juicy and soft.

8. Culinary Use: Due to the presence of anthocyanin, a pigment making the fruits blue and black, these tomatoes are very healthy (especially for those who have poor eyesight and thin blood vessel walls). The fruits look attractive in cans (when canned) but it is recommended to eat them in salads or as juices. This tomato will be an unusual decoration both for your garden and for your festive table!
