PACKAGING: Sachet Zip lock 12 - 15 SEEDS

1. Original Name: Streak Lightning.

2. History: A wonderful variety bred by American tomato breeder Brad Gates (Wild Boar Farms, USA). This is a recent variety having no anthocyanin according to other sources. According to Brad Gates’ website, he also has it without anthocyanin. Most probably, his tomatoes were picked from crowded bushes. However, just like most gardeners we had Streak Lightning tomatoes with anthocyanin seen as blue shoulders. A beautiful variety!

3. Plant Specifications:
Mid-season. Growing outdoors and in a greenhouse (the fruits will mature earlier in a greenhouse demonstrating the signs of an early-season variety). Indeterminate, tall bush, growing up to 6.5 feet (200 cm) tall. Thin stem, regular leaf. Regular truss, 5-6 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions:
The bush can be trained to two or three main stems. Pruning and staking are a must.

5. Shape and Weight: Elongated plum-shaped (Roma) fruits with pointed tips. Weight: 2.5-3.5 oz. (70-100 g).

6. Color: Crimson and pink with yellow streaks resembling a lightning and a blue coating on the shoulders if the plants receive enough light. A beautiful and soft color.

7. Flavor Profile
: Sweet. Tomato flavor being soft like that of pink tomatoes. The flesh is buttery and meaty but also juicy enough. It resembles gummy candies as many think.

8. Culinary Use
: Very delicious in fresh salads. Perfect for excellent sauces and paste.
