1. Original Name: Sweet Pickle. Also known as Christmas Tree Pepper because the bush is covered with multi-colored peppers resembling Christmas toys.

2. History: Its detailed history is unknown. This variety is popular in Europe and the USA due to the fact that it is possible to grow these peppers in containers and large pots. Its fancy name refers to the way you can use its fruits. In Europe and the USA, they pickle them in sweet, sweet and sour or sweet and spicy marinade sauce using different spices and flavors.

3. Plant Specifications: Early-season. Suitable for growing in a greenhouse and outdoors. Short plant growing 1.3-1.6 feet (40-50 cm) tall and up to 1.6 feet (50 cm) wide either outdoors or in a green house. The plants will be slightly smaller in size if you grow them in pots.

4. Training Instructions: It is recommended to tie the longest stems so that they do not break because of heavy fruits. The fruits are small but numerous so the stems bend to the ground. No staking is required if you grow this pepper in pots.

5. Shape and Weight: Tapered fruits being 2-2.8 in. (5-7 cm) long. Weight: 0.5-0.7 oz. (15-20 g).

6. Color
: The fruits are light yellow at the mature-green stage while the upper peppers have some anthocyanin coating and streaks in the upper part of the fruit. They mature to yellow, orange, carrot-colored, red and dark red. Fruits growing on the same bush can be of all of these colors.

7. Flavor Profile: Very sweet, flavorful and crisp. The walls are not thin at all so you have some flesh to eat.

8. Culinary Use: A good choice for making fresh salads and freezing. Of course, it is perfect for pickling as well. By the way, you can pickle the whole fruits cutting the stem end only. You can also grill the fruits. An all-purpose pepper.
